WELCOME TO OUR 11th WALK FOR REX

A 7K Community Walk in Knole Park, Sevenoaks on Friday 8th May 2026 9.30am - 11.30am

We warmly  invite you to walk with us to  remember our son  Rex and  raise vital funds for SUDC UK for much-needed research into Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood.    Once again this uplifting community walk will be 7k around Knole Park's glorious grounds (Thank you to Natural England and Knole Park). 

What you need to know about the walk 

1.. Cost to walk/virtual piggyback is £20 If you are unable to join us pls consider donating by purchasing the  £20/£15 or £10 ticket 

2. Meet up in front of Knole House and start & finish point this year is at THE GALLOPS. Please be mindful to keep to the paths to protect seedlings. 

3. There is parking at Knole Park, National Trust members must arrive with their membership card although this year there is no payment for parking. However,  NT would appreciate a small donation at the cafe.  Please share lifts where possible or park and walk in. 

4. Please wear a blue top or brightly coloured top in keeping with the uplifting theme of the morning.

5. Dog friendly and buggy friendly (weather permitting)

6. Please stay for a drink at Knole Park Cafe. Always so lovely to stop and chat to everyone properly. Once again this year Thackray Williams will be covering the cost of hot and cold drinks at the main Cafe.   Especially Health where I work as a Nutritional Therapist will be providing a healthy snack which will be available outside on the tables. 

We want this annual charity walk Remembering Rex to be about bringing the community together, getting outside in nature and doing something uplifting and positive with like-minded people. "Smile at a stranger. The sunshine you share may just be the light their soul is craving'"JL Wyman

SUDC UK is a charity I set up with two other SUDC bereaved parents.  The Charity's mission is to improve awareness and understanding of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood, support families affected by SUDC and  fund crucial medical research to better understand these tragedies for a future where SUDC is predictable and preventable. https://sudc.org.uk/mission/
