A rare opportunity to get your hands on some of the countries finest art

.n 2014,  Sarah Parish and James Murray founded The Murray Parish Trust in memory of their late daughter Ella-Jayne,  The charity is dedicated to the advancement of paediatric emergency medicine across the South of England ensuring that children affected by major trauma can receive the best emergency care as close to home as possible.

In the mid-term, our aim is to better equip University Hospital Southampton, a nationally recognised centre of excellence. In addition to our focus on treating children, we will also be investing in ground breaking research into childhood illness, pioneering equipment and the development of specialist training programmes.

Since founding The Murray Parish Trust in 2014 we have raised £400,000 for the Paediactic Intensive Care Unit funding 2 bed bays, a full-time counsellor and a hospital gurney for use on the Children’s Air Ambulance. We then launched our most ambitious appeal to date - #2MillionSteps  in 2016 which reached it’s target of £2 million in November this year. This total with government match-funding raised the £4 million needed for a 5.2 million project to build the new Children’s Emergency Department at Southampton ensuring this world class facility can now care for critically ill and injured children across the South of England and the Channel Islands.

The iMRI Suite Appeal is The Murray Parish Trust’s latest challenge to raise £5.5 million to fund a revolutionary intra-operative MRI (iMRI) Suite at Southampton Children’s Hospital. This campaign will make the hospital a next generation centre for paediatric neurosurgery and pioneering research, which will advance the treatment and care of children across the region and beyond.
As a highly proactive Hampshire-based charity with minimal overheads, as much as 90% of the funds we are raising go directly to these critical fundraising projects.

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
