The Children of London is an arts project that creates an archive of images of children from all across the city of London during one year. Each child chosen to appear is photographed at their favourite London location and so it is an eclectic mix of photographs and celebrates the diversity of the fantastic city we call home. The images are published in a limited edition book, with each copy individually numbered and signed by hand. The book itself is a huge, hardback publication measuring over 17 x 13 inches. It comes boxed and is one of only 500 limited edition copies.

The project raises much needed funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital and we have so far raised over £106,000.00 for the charity. In addition to this we are proud to say that numbered copies 001, 002 and 003 are retained by His Majesty the King, the Prime Minister and the Mayor of London. It is hand bound and individually printed to the highest possible standards. This prize will guarantee the winner’s child / children to feature within the 2026 edition of the book.

The usual way to be part of the project is to apply for your child to be photographed by visiting our website http://www.ChildrenOfLondon.co.uk. We get on average around a thousand applications each year, but only a very small number are selected to feature in the book. The winner of this auction will receive a photo shoot with Richard Bradbury, a guaranteed space in the Children Of London 2026 book for at least one of the images from the photo shoot to feature, and a free archival A4 print from the shoot. A copy of the book however is not included in the prize, but the winners will have the opportunity to purchase a copy if they wish to do so. Age restrictions for children featured in the book is roughly 12 years, however this is more of a guideline, and we like to include ALL siblings within the photo shoots.
