This very special lot is for a dress made just for you.
Ridley London dresses are designed and made in London and a bespoke Ridley dress is made to your specifications and, unlike something you would buy off the peg, unique to you. and tailored to your exact dimensions, and most flattering fit.
The experience starts with a visit to their gorgeous boutique opposite the Olympic Cinema in Barnes Village,(less than 2 miles from SPGS) where you can explore the styles and choose the one that suits you best, and then the fabric you would like to have it made in, from a selection that includes stunning silks, velvets and even needlecord. And because it's unique to you, should you want a slightly longer hem length or a little more room on the bust, they can simply add little more fabric.
Your dress will then be made here in London, by their incredible seamstresses using traditional techniques such as French seams.
Because everything is locally made to order, there is very little wastage.
A very special experience from start to finish, and a dress that is uniquely yours.

The Children of London is an arts project that creates an archive of images of children from all across the city of London during one year. Each child chosen to appear is photographed at their favourite London location and so it is an eclectic mix of photographs and celebrates the diversity of the fantastic city we call home.
The images are published in a huge hardback limited edition book measuring over 17 x 13 inches, with each of the 500 copies individually numbered and signed by hand. It is hand bound and individually printed to the highest possible standards, and comes boxed.
Numbers 001, 002 and 003 are retained by His Majesty the King, the Prime Minister and the Mayor of London.
This prize will guarantee the winner’s child or children to feature within the 2024 edition of the book. The usual way to be part of the project is to apply online. We get on average around a thousand applications each year.
The winner of this auction will receive a photo shoot with Richard Bradbury, a guaranteed space in the Children Of London 2024 book for at least one of the images from the photo shoot, an archival A4 print from the shoot, and the option to purchase more prints and the book itself.
The upper age limit for children featured in the book is roughly 12 years, however this is more of a guideline, and we like to include ALL siblings within the photo shoots.
You can feel and see the impressive size of the book on display at the Auction Table on 18th November!
The shoot will take approximately 2 hours. and around a week later you will be invited back to Richard’s studio to view the images. At that time you will have a chance to talk about which image will appear in the book.
Half of the money raised from this lot will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The Children of London Project raises much needed funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital and has so far raised just under £100,000.00!
https://childrenoflondon.co.uk/
This prize is offered for parents and/ or students, but parents have responsibility for their children.
Please note that except where explicitly stated, prizes are not school-organised activities, but rather an agreement between the winning bidder and the person offering the prize.

A chance to experience the fabulously luxurious Olympic Cinema, with supper after at our favourite Neighbourhood Pizzeria - Base Face. Prize includes 2 tickets and Supper for 2 at Base Face.
The gorgeous Olympic Cinema in barnes was previously the Olympic Sound Studios, with room enough to house a 70-piece orchestra. The Rolling Stones were among its first clients, recording six consecutive albums between 1966 and 1972. Other band to have recorded iconic albums include The Beatles , The Who, Led Zeppelin, Queen The Small Faces, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, B.B. King, David Bowie, The Jam, Pink Floyd, Duran Duran, Oasis, Barbra Streisand, Nick Cave, Madonna, Prince, The Spice Girls, U2 and Procol Harum, who recorded A Whiter Shade Of Pale here.
The studio also recorded and produced film music for "The Italian Job" (1969), the film version of "Jesus Christ Superstar" (1973), and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". Find out more here https://www.olympiccinema.com/history
Like other things dear to our hearts, Base Face has branches in Barnes and Hammersmith...
Founder Tim Thornton has spent the past 10 years as one of the UK’s most in demand jazz bassists (hence Base Face Pizza), touring the globe and performing at a range of venues from the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall to Glastonbury Festival… Until the Covid-19 pandemic hit and turned life upside down.
Base Face Pizza started life as Zio Tim’s Pizzeria, a pop-up pizzeria on Tim’s driveway during the lockdown in May 2020, serving sourdough pizza from an original Ooni Pro to the local community to raise money for the NHS Charities. During 2020 over 4000 pizzas were served to the people of West London.Dedicated to the perfection of a Neapolitan inspired style utilising long ferments and healthy grains, without the restrictions of tradition but with a deep respect for it underpinning each pizza that leaves the oven, Base Face Pizza is a Neo-Politan pizza for the discerning digester, with a focus on independent producers, high quality local ingredients, healthy grains and a joy for eating great food. Local ingredients, independent producers, slow dough. To ensure each pizza leaving the kitchen is light and digestible, our dough is fermented for a minimum of 48 hours, that means that when we sell out we won’t have any more until the following day, but you can be guaranteed the highest quality dough every time.

It could either be a life story interview - covering the key moments in their life - or an interview which focuses on one particular time in their life. She'd discuss beforehand what they wanted and also ask for a rough CV and areas they would like her to cover and any particular questions they would like her to ask.
It would be particularly well suited to an elderly family member whose memories the family want to capture.
Over the past fifteen years Blanche has interviewed all manner of people – from artists, nuns and victims of genocide (for The Times, The Guardian, The Financial Times and the Tablet) to fishermen and sociologists (for the British Library) and cleaners, carers, musicians and the homeless (for BBC World Service, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 3 and Resonance FM). She regularly interviews authors for literary festivals and has just made a series of programmes for BBC Radio 4.

Sophie captures modern, stylish, Vanity-Fair portraits of business owners who would like some new imagery for their website/ LinkedIn profile, or indeed anyone simply wanting a beautiful portrait of themselves - perhaps to celebrate a special milestone birthday or simply to capture a moment in time.
The winner will have a consultation with Sophie on the telephone 2 weeks before the session to discuss details such as what to wear, what to expect, how to prepare etc.
The day itself takes place in her studio just under 2 hours from school in a beautiful corner of the Dorset countryside. Leaving the city behind you and heading to Cranborne Chase - a designated Are of Outstanding Natural Beauty less than 2 hour's drive from school- is all part of the experience, and for some may be the perfect start to a weekend getaway.
On the day you will have an hour’s hair and make up session with Sophie’s professional make up artist upon arrival at the studio followed by a fun, relaxed 2 hour photography session, with guided posing and direction throughout using up to 3 outfits.
The prize includes editing and retouching the images to a high standard.
One professionally retouched print of your choice, mounted and matted in a 10x8” mount, and the corresponding digital file.
2 weeks after the shoot you’ll view the images for the first time at our Zoom viewing session, and there you’ll choose your one free image, and decide which other images you’d like to purchase. Every image created in the studio is mounted and matted in a 10x8” mount, and comes with the corresponding digital file.
The prize must be booked by January 31st 2024 and the session must take place before May 31st 2024.

Start your evening with Champagne hospitality before settling into your Front Stalls seats with a programme signed by the cast ...and round off the evening with a drink afterwards with a cast member.
Following a highly acclaimed, sold-out run at the National Theatre, The Motive and the Cue transfers to the West End for a strictly limited 15-week run, playing at the Noel Coward Theatre.
Academy Award®, Tony Award® and Golden Globe winner Sam Mendes (The Lehman Trilogy, The Ferryman) directs this startling production based on the making of Richard Burton and John Gielgud’s Hamlet on Broadway. Celebrated as ‘a love letter to theatre’ (Evening Standard), the fierce and funny new play by Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) offers a glimpse into the politics of a rehearsal room and the relationship between art and celebrity.
Richard Burton, newly married to Elizabeth Taylor, is to play the title role in an experimental new production of Hamlet under John Gielgud’s exacting direction. But as rehearsals progress, two ages of theatre collide and the collaboration between actor and director soon threatens to unravel.
A ‘brilliant, compassionate new play’ (Financial Times) powered by ‘dazzling performances’ (Time Out), don’t miss Johnny Flynn, Mark Gatiss and Tuppence Middleton as Burton, Gielgud and Taylor.
Date of the winner's choosing, (subject to availability) between 19th December 2023 and 23rd March 2024.

This fairy-tale cottage is situated in one of the loveliest villages along the famous Route des Chaumieres (Thatched Cottage Route). It is located in Eure, near the border with Calvados and Seine-Maritime. The village is within the Boucles de Seine national park and there are cycling and hiking trails along the river and into the forests from the doorstep. It is less than an hour's drive to Honfleur, Deauville, Etretat, Le Havre and Rouen, the pebble beaches of the Alabaster Coast and the sandy beaches of the Cote Fleurie. A perfect base for walking, cycling, golf, horseback riding, and exploring Norman history, culture and gastronomic delights.
The cottage has four bedrooms and can sleep up to 8 people plus a child in a cot. There is wheelchair access to the ground floor bedroom which has twin beds and an en-suite shower room and W.C. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, each with a double bed, and a shower room with W.C. There is wifi in the cottage, but please note, the connection is weaker than in most urban areas and the speed is sometimes slower than would be normal in Paris or London.
Outside is a one-acre garden, mostly lawn, leading from the cottage down to the River Seine. Patio with barbecue and furniture to sit on and watch the boats go by on the river. Lovely views.
Normandy beaches start a 30 minute drive away. Miles of smooth, clean sand and friendly seaside towns such as Deauville and Trouville. Normandy D-Day beaches along same coastline. Going north are the beautiful pebble beaches at Etretat, Fecamp and Saint-Valéry-en-Caux as painted by Monet and the Impressionists. Normandy has some of the best golf courses in France. Nearby courses include Etretat, Saint-Saens and Jumièges.
There is an excellent range of friendly shops including bakery and butcher within 10 minutes drive. There are top-notch restaurants ranging from family to Michelin star in nearby towns. Large and good supermarkets (inc. Casino) at Pont-Audemer. Weekly market on Mondays and Fridays in Pont-Audemer.
Available from Nov 2023 (subject to availability and not av Christmas holiday), to be arranged at least 2 months in advance. Most comfortable for a party of up to 6 adults; up to 8 if small children/babies.

DONE ADHD Coach
Chartered Psychologist
Fiona Grunschlag completed her undergraduate Psychology degree (BA Hons) in 1992 at the University of Manchester. Subsequently, she completed an MSc in Health Psychology (1995) and later a Post MSc in Counselling Psychology (2010) at City University, London. More recently, Fiona became certified as a life coach specialising in ADHD (ADD Coach Academy, USA).
Fiona’s experience covers both the public (NHS) and private sectors (including registered charities). and a range of different settings including: Primary care services; Outpatient eating disorder services (NELMHT); and Primary schools.
Fiona offers an integrative approach tailored to each individual whilst drawing upon several psychological therapies and the ADHD coaching paradigm. She has recourse to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), motivational interviewing and strength-based modalities. Integral to her practice is the importance of developing a person-centred, non-judgemental, authentic and collaborative relationship with clients. Fiona assumes an evidence-based and reflective practice.
As both a Chartered Psychologist and ADHD Coach, Fiona brings a multi-layered approach. She recognises the complexity of ADHD and its’ presentation of co-existing conditions. She maintains awareness of the psychological impact that ADHD can have on self-esteem, and the feelings of shame and blame that can ensue. She works on skills and strategies, but also on a more emotional and psychological level. Fiona sees each client as having a different ADHD “map” and works bespoke to the person.
Fiona works with young people 16 years and above and adults across the life-span. She has particular interest in working with women at different and how this impacts the ADHD presentation.

Confirm your bid
By confirming your bid, you commit to buy this item if you are the winning bidder at the end of the auction and you agree to the terms of this auction.
SIGNED IN AS :
When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
