South Wilts Cricket Club - Fundraiser Friday 27th June 2025
South Wilts Cricket Club welcomes you all to the annual fundraiser supporting the club through your generous support.
In conjunction with the golf being played on Friday 27th June 2025 where players, supporters, local businesses, and friends tackle the stunning Bramshaw Manor Course in the New Forest we are running a live auction that will coincide with the end of play on the day. But for this auction, everyone, everywhere can be involved. You just need to bid, anytime, anyplace anywhere, up to the close.
The theme this year is to raise much needed funds to invest in the return of women’s cricket to the club. As well as much needed new and replacement cricket equipment. We are also promoting a diverse and inclusive club right across the community, encouraging as many junior players as we can to come and experience the joy of the game.
The auction will close on the golf day at 14:15 on the 27th June, when winning bidders will automatically get notified by our auction host.

A great day out playing with friends in and personal with the wild life of the New Forest. The original course and the oldest in the county! Bramshaw’s original course, now known as the Forest Course and understood to be the oldest in Hampshire, was built by local resident and landowner, Philip de Crespigny, for the entertainment of his weekend guests in about 1865. With its open aspects and rolling heathland, it is in complete contrast to the Manor Course but equally as magnificent. The roaming ponies and deer add to the charm of the Forest Course, and many prefer to play it for its beauty and old-fashioned test of golfing skills. The prospect of a deer emerging from the trees or a mare and her foal on the fairway gives the Forest Course a special and unique appeal.

Hampshire County Cricket Club and the Utility Bowl have kindly donated a 4 ticket voucher to any one of the Metro One Day Cup games of your choice in August of this years campaign.
