Nada Debs, of Lebanese origin, was raised in Japan. She studied Interior Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design in the USA and started her first design company in the UK designing and producing custom furniture. After a 40 year hiatus, Nada Debs’ Levantine spirit brought her back home to Beirut where she discovered that designs for modern Middle Eastern furniture were almost non-existent. This made her determined to create the East & East concept, fusing Eastern tradition and minimalism, where her multi-cultural approach caught the appeal of the global design world. Based in Beirut, NADA DEBS designs are represented in the USA, Canada, UK, France, UAE, and Saudi Arabia and recently in Tunisia.

Grand Tier Box for 10-12 people at the Royal Albert Hall for 2018 concerts of Joan Baez, Dionne Warwick or UB40
This unmissable prize entitles the winner to a special evening in one of the most exclusive Grand Tier boxes for 10-12 people at the iconic London venue. Refreshments will be provided on the night.
The winner may choose between:
1. Joan Baez (28 or 29 May): Legendary artist and activist Joan Baez will return to the Hall in 2018, following the release of her first new studio album in ten years. Baez’s career has spanned over 50 years, during which time she unselfconsciously introduced Bob Dylan to the world, marched on the front lines of the Civil Rights movement with Martin Luther King, inspired Vaclav Havel to fight for a Czech Republic, and continues to this day to stand passionately on behalf of causes she embraces.
2. Dionne Warwick (18 September): With a vast array of hits, including Walk On By, Anyone Who Had A Heart, Do You Know The Way to San José, and Heartbreaker, Dionne is one of the best-loved singers in the history of music. The singer first appeared at the Hall in 1970 and this special orchestra evening will mark her 10th date at the venue.
3. UB40 (25 June): UB40 turn 40 this year, and to celebrate there will be a very special 40th anniversary show at the Royal Albert Hall! Since the band was formed in 1978 in Birmingham, they have sold over 70 million records worldwide, with hits including Red Red Wine and (Can’t Help) Falling in Love making them one of the most successful reggae acts of all time.

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another
member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new
maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
