Rob Starr, River Keeper for the Town & Manor of
Hungerford, leads an exploration of the Dun, a chalk stream which is a
globally rare habitat abundant with wildlife. See wild brown trout and
grayling and go river-dipping for bullhead and a fascinating variety of
invertebrates including caddis and freshwater shrimp.
Followed by a delicious fried breakfast cooked by the 1st Hungerford Brownies in the Croft Hall at 8.00am
Please note that the walk is free and no ticket is required– the tickets you can buy are for the breakfast (which is optional!)
Tickets are non-refundable, except if the event is cancelled by order of the event management. A printed or electronic version of the ticket is required for entry. Tickets may not be copied or printed more than once. Each ticket is numbered and has a unique QR code. Entry will refused for duplicate tickets.
