This adult-focused talk by adventurer and explorer, Nick Carter, will conclude the very exciting Project Deep Fear at Falcons Pre-Prep where the boys will have experienced an interactive exploration of conquering fear through resilience and optimism. The boys will have followed Nick Carter’s deep cave adventure through assemblies and interactive video links. During this evening talk Nick will explain his journey from weapons scientist to educational adventurer and share stories of his time spent with remote tribes and top class athletes as he undertook adventures such as climbing Everest, crossing the Sahara and descending into the world's deepest cave system. These experiences have tested many components of his character to enable him to connect with both adults and children to highlight the importance of empathy, teamwork and of course overcoming fear. Proceeds from this event will go to Committed Project, a charity that engages and inspires young people through adventure (http://committedproject.org).
Please note this adult-focused talk is not suitable for children.
