When you arrive in the Teifi Valley area, one of our professional river guides will be happy to meet with you and your party in order to plan your break. We normally update you with the current river conditions, weather forecasts, tide times and best chances of catching fish.

Our river guides operate throughout the Teifi Valley and can offer you a range of services from simply, where to fish and obtain a permit, through to fully guided night time fishing for sea trout and providing a full “gillie” service for the autumn salmon anglers.

All of our services are tailored to suit both, the inexperienced and experienced angler.

In 2018, our journey embarked upon an exciting path as we opened a new café right in the heart of our hometown, Aberteifi. Fuelled by our love for all things brunch, pastries, and coffee, our mission was to establish a place for foodies like ourselves!

Steve Reeves has fly fished throughout the U.K. for salmon and sea trout for over 40 years and since retiring to the Teifi valley 12 years ago he has gained a more in depth knowledge of the Teifi which he started fishing in the 80's.

As well as being an accomplished custom rod builder of both single and double handed rods, Steve also ties quality salmon and sea trout flies that have proved their worth not only on the Teifi but also in Russia, Patagonia and British Columbia.

A lovely boutique hotel, renovated in 2001. 13 rooms in total spread over 3 historic
harbour-side buildings. 7 original rooms in the former Harbourmaster’s residence, with the
much loved attic ‘Madona’ Suite. All original rooms have great sea or harbour views. 4
spacious warehouse converted rooms with stylish bathrooms, sofas and lift access. Aeron
Queen suite with panoramic views, as featured in the Visit Wales TV campaign.

Llandysul Paddlers have a very active Canoe Club that meets all year round, they have a variety of sessions as well as Club Trips. They also offer a range of different membership options that will enable you to fully immerse yourself in the world paddling.

The Nag’s Head is independently owned and run by Dewi and Jacqui Davies who came home to Wales from England in 2003 to take the helm at the award winning family resort called Clydey Cottages.

Welshness and “local” are hugely important to them the owners. Dewi is Welsh speaking and Jacqui is learning the language, they have three children Tomos, Dafydd and Catrin all of whom speak Welsh too.

Y Polyn is a small family-owned restaurant, tucked away in the verdant Towy valley between the county town of Carmarthen and chic Llandeilo.

We’re not trying to be cutting edge or post-modern here. You won’t find foams, gels or technical wizardry on the plate. What you will find is beautiful produce cooked simply and with respect.

Saltmarsh lamb, Welsh beef and free range, rare breed pork are highlights of the
well-balanced menu. We’re very keen to avoid pretension at Y Polyn. Tables are
mismatching bare wood, tablecloths are banished, staff wear jeans and you get to pour your own wine.

Fair and Fabulous is located in the beautiful Teifi Valley in rural West Wales and is run by Lenshina Hines and Jill Sutton. It’s a place that naturally fosters close community links, but we believe that this should include global as well as local connections.

By forming the company we aimed to provide incomes for ourselves as well as for people in other small communities in many different locations – reaching from village to village for a fairer world.
