The mission of the National
Wildflower Centre – which has been part of the Eden Project since 2018 – is to
bring biodiversity, delight and colour into the lives of communities across the
UK. Creative conservation is used to develop new wildflower landscapes in
partnership with communities, businesses, local and parish councils and other
NGOs, and conservation projects are run that bring threatened species back from
the brink.
The ‘Garden of Eden’ print, donated
by contemporary artist Yvonne Coomber, is being auctioned with all proceeds going to support
the National Wildflower Centre. Yvonne has had a lifelong love affair with
wildflowers; being an ambassador for them is an essential aspect of
Yvonne’s practice.
