Hi, I’m Sally, thank you so much for your interest in my small business.

Floral Tiara Treasures was created by myself to design beautiful and unique handmade head wear for Dancers, Performers, Brides, Bridesmaids, Flower girls, Prom attendees, along with anyone who enjoys dressing up for any occasion, festival or event.

I am, in fact, a Barts trained nurse by profession but have always aspired to owning my own small business doing something creative. Ever since I shopped for my Wedding dress, Tiara and Bridesmaid dresses with my dear Mum over 25 years ago, I have held a desire close to my heart to one day create my own floral tiara designs and open a small business. In 2021 I will be celebrating my 25th Silver Wedding Anniversary, so it feels like the perfect year in which to finally make my business aspirations a reality.

The inspiration for creating artificial Floral Tiaras comes from my choice of hair accessory for my own Wedding, which I have kept all these years! It is still in lovely condition and is such a sentimental keepsake from my special day. Whilst fresh flowers are also beautiful, I want to create special head pieces for people which are made to last and to keep for years to come.

My two children, Holly and Adam, are both passionate dancers which led me into a world of festivals and dance costumes! Holly competed in many Eisteddfods up until she went to a performing arts school and then college. Adam is currently at The Royal Ballet School. I have often found difficulty sourcing exact colour matches to Holly’s tutus and festival costumes, therefore I hope to provide a service whereby I can create designs for you to coordinate with your particular colour requirements.

I hope you love the designs as much as I do making them! Each head piece is handmade with love, and the Tiaras are comfortable to wear as well as being secure thanks to the attached comb each side which also ensures perfect positioning. Any style can be made bespoke to your particular colour theme, for example to match a bridesmaid dress or tutu. Due to the handmade nature of my products, each one may differ very slightly but the colour pallet will remain consistent with the Tiara’s individual theme.

Sadly, I lost my Mum recently and wish to open my business in her memory and will donate 5% of every sale to Marie Curie, who helped us care for Mum at the end of her life.

I create full size and miniature hand embellished Pointe Shoes, Hair Accessories, Bun Wraps, Bag Charms, Keyrings and Drawstring Dance Bags. I will be adding to this as my business grows.

Depending on the look my client and myself are after I work with both new and well loved, danced in Pointe Shoes, upcycling them and breathing new life into them.

FM buy their oils from a factory in Germany where many (not all) designers buy thier oils from. We use similar top notes and head notes to make our own quality, long lasting, branded scents. We also sell quality make up and home fragrances.

Ever since they had hair long enough, I have always loved styling it ready for ballet classes, this sparked my idea of creating something special to add to their ballet outfits. These moments of creativity became a huge passion of mine, and I have been creating bows, bun wraps and accessories for dancers, skaters and rhythmic gymnasts around the world for nearly 8 years.
