Music Unity For Mental Health has been 7 years in the making, from a little idea to now being realised. Our aim is to raise awareness and beat the stigma of Mental Health through the power of Music. This will include club nights,gigs,DJ/production workshops, event experiences, studio time and much more.
Much of this will be funded by the events we will be holding and also collaborations with other promoters in the area and further afield starting with our London launch on 6th July 2019 @ Cell 200 in Kings Cross. https://www.facebook.com/events/2338408783069663/
We won't be concentrating on one type of music either, we are interested in all types and genres.
Over the coming months we will be announcing our first events and all profits will go into our first music workshop for people who struggle with their mental health. Full details about this and how to attend the first one will come in due time.
Music has the power to heal, be it just listening on your own at home or going to a gig or festival or dancing at a club night with 100s of people..we want to go a step further and give people the chance to be a part of the music, that may be learning to play an instrument, being taught how to DJ, record a track at a real studio, shadow a sound engineer or lighting designer at a gig...even just volunteering to work one of our merch stalls at an event or festival....all this helps to promote better mental health
Through our many years working within many aspects of music we are drawing on all that experience now to help people with their mental health. We have all been through our own struggles and been helped so now it is time to give something back. Professional help is necessary but having a support network is a no brainer when it comes to mental health. Friends/Family/work colleagues etc all play an important part in the well being of someone who is struggling....Music can also play a role in that support and that is our main aim....It is our mission.

So, thank you for visiting our page, and an even bigger thank you if you liked it/shared it and are following us. Please let your friends and family know about us.
All of that will be a massive help to so many people.
Let's make loads of noise and truly make a difference
