Who We Are
The Dawn Patrol Riders for Doddie are a group of cyclists brought together through Edinburgh Dawn Patrol, an inclusive early-morning cycling community founded by Markus Stitz. What began as a simple sunrise spin quickly became something deeper: a community built on shared effort, encouragement, and the joy of turning pedals together.
We ride for fitness, for friendship and fun - but in March 2026 we ride for something bigger.

A distinctive and highly collectible single cask whisky from Edinburgh’s short‑lived Chain Pier Distillery. Created as an experimental site dedicated to exploring innovative cask types and distillation methods, Chain Pier operated for just thirteen months between 2018 and 2019 before closing permanently. Only thirty‑nine casks were ever produced, each filled at different strengths and with different wood profiles, making every release completely unique.
This bottle comes from Cask 38, one of the final casks laid down at the distillery, and yielded only fifty bottles in total. Bottled in collaboration with Milroy’s of Soho, it represents a rare snapshot of a creative, boundary‑pushing moment in Edinburgh whisky making that will never be repeated.
A special dram with genuine scarcity and a compelling story—ideal for collectors, enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates the craft behind limited‑run whisky.
