Homegrown Art and Music for Huntington's is a fundraising event in aid the Huntington's Disease Association. The aims to raise, much needed, funds for this rare and widely misunderstood disease and specifically for Awareness training for Health & Social Care Professionals.
As part of the event, a live Auction of Professional Artworks will take place between
3pm-5pm on Sunday 19th April at the Marine Hall Fleetwood, Lancashire FY7 6HF. All
the Auction items are included on this site, and interested parties, who, for
whatever reason, may not be able to attend, are invited to place bids here prior
to the live event – up until 12.00 mid-day on the 18th April 2020
No winners will be
declared at this point as closing bids will be carried forward to the live
event on 19th April. Any online winning bidders will be contacted as
soon as possible following the closure of the auction. Postage costs will be
discussed in relation to the individual winning bidder’s requirements (i.e.
insurance) and geographical location.
In addition to this
site, all pieces of work will be available for
viewing in the Marine Hall from 12.00 mid-day in the Waterfront Lounge Bar. A catalogue
of all donated items is also now available at www.Homegrownart.org which
includes the Auction event information and biographical details of the artists.
Please note that whilst some of the items are listed as ‘framed’ – the
framing quality differs from item to item and therefore should not be
considered as part of the ‘value’ of the artwork. Also, it is worth looking
carefully at the approximate size of each piece as the images displayed might appear
visually deceptive
