TREES FOR ICELAND

Welcome to Iceland Traveller’s TREES FOR ICELAND project. 

Please use this site to contribute towards the purchase of Icelandic birch and mountain ash saplings. 

Locally grown, sturdy species that are natural to Iceland are planted in batches each time we build up enough funds. We’ll include planting as an option for summer group visits to Iceland, so join in if you wish and spend a few days on the farm too. Here, over 3,000 tree saplings have already been planted and it’s our aim to boost this number significantly through our efforts.
