Paul Hanlon Testimonial AuctionRead more ...
This online auction forms part of the Paul Hanlon Testimonial Gala Dinner, a special event taking place on 23 June 2019 at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange in honour of Paul Hanlon, a one club player in excess of ten years and an admired member of the Hibernian community.
We are pleased to announce that the Hanlon Stevenson Foundation (HSF) was launched on Friday 14 June with press and TV on hand at the Corn Exchange Edinburgh. The purpose of HSF is primarily youth related with a view to assisting less privileged children. All proceeds raised from this auction will benefit various local childrens charities.
The website http://hanlonstevensonfoundation.co.uk is now active to view for additional information.
We are confident that you will be very impressed by the range and quality of the items on display.
This auction is open for you to bid online until midnight on 22 June when online bidding will close. Bidding will then continue at the Gala Dinner on 23 June from 7pm until 9.15pm and will only be available at the venue.
If you are unable to attend the Gala Dinner but wish to bid on one or more items, you can still give yourself the best chance of winning by placing a proxy (maximum) bid on this page. We will then carry your bid over to the main auction on the evening of the Gala Dinner and continue bidding up for you up to your maximum. You will be contacted after the Gala Dinner if your bid is successful.
Additional Auction Lots will be added to the site up to and including 7 June. We hope that you will enjoy browsing the site and happy bidding.Close.
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
