The lucky winner of this bid receives a bottle of Glenkinchie 12 year old malt whisky.
This Glenkinchie 12 year old malt whisky’s taste profile can be summed up as highly aromatic and flowery. One can notice vanilla, cut flowers (specifically daffodil, blossom and hints of lily) and then, beneath that, a clean and toasty note. Next, it becomes increasingly sweet and creamy with a lightly aromatic edge and fresh citrus taste, which calls to mind lemon cheesecake.
Glenkinchie, was recently named as ‘ The Garden Distillery’, owing to its beautiful new garden development: fruits of a vision of planting to echo the land and greenery surrounding the distillery in the midst of East Lothian. The distillery gardens, which were inspired by the local wildflowers and grasses, now include the installation of beehives, bat houses, bug boxes, and plantings to attract, feed, and shelter insect pollinators, birds and other creatures.

The artist Blanka Klimczak Peters has kindly offered a picture of the Holyrood Parliament. It is mixed media, oils and tempera. The size is 26x23 inches (66cm x59cm).
This work incorporates the landscape and volcanic setting in "Sagrada Família”, Barcelona, that is to say in the style of continuing architectural continuity. The winner of this lot receives two bottles of whisky, Laphroaig and Celt.
For the Laphroaig Oak Select, the Islay distillery has taken whisky from a number of different types of cask, including oloroso sherry butts, white American oak, Pedro Ximenez seasoned hoggies, quarter casks and first-fill bourbon casks. As a result, this whisky does not pack a huge punch of peat, which might be just the ticket for introducing someone to the wonders of Islay's smoky expressions.
The Penderyn Celt is a single malt whisky finished in ex-peated quarter casks. This results in mild aromas of peat smoke, early morning at the rocky seaside and warm marmalade on toast, all competing for attention.
The lucky winner can collect the two bottles from the staff on the Jumblebee desk at the end of the evening.

Stay at Traquair House, near Innerleithen in Peebleshire, Scotland’s oldest inhabited house.
The prize allows the winning bidder to stay in one of the three spacious double en suite bedrooms, all furnished with antique furniture, canopied beds and includes a full Scottish breakfast and tour of the house.
The Pink Room is a luxurious suite on the first floor of the house overlooking the maze. Originally Lord Traquair’s room, it contains an 18th century trompe l’oeil over the fireplace. Please note the Pink
Room is not available November to April.
The Blue and White Rooms are in the late 17th century wing of the House. They are on the ground floor and adjacent to the Lower Drawing Room, a space where guests can relax in the evening in front of an open fire. The Blue Room looks onto Cupid’s Garden while the White Room has excellent views up to the Bear Gates.
Traquair Castle dates from 1107 and was used by a long line of Scottish Kings before it became the home of the Stuarts in 1491. It is still lived in by the family and is now well known as the oldest inhabited and most romantic house in Scotland. It has a long and famous Catholic history: the famous Bear Gates at the top of the main drive, built in 1739, were closed in 1745 following the visit of Bonnie Prince Charlie when the 5th Earl promised they would never be opened again until the Stuarts returned to the throne.
The stay can be taken anytime in the coming 12 months, depending on available dates.
The lucky winner should contact the Jumblebee desk at the end of the evening to collect a voucher with contact details to claim the prize.

Having focused initially on life drawing, the range of classes offered has grown with demand and the lessons now cover oil painting, abstract, landscape, still life, floral and portrait subjects, as well as calligraphy and illustration.
Children and teens also benefit from traditional drawing and painting classes which they would otherwise not experience in school.

This evocative landscape centres on a solitary tree set against a luminous evening sky, its twisting, organic branches rendered in bold silhouette. The artist captures the quiet drama of sunset through a
harmonious blend of soft blues, purples, and glowing orange light, creating a scene that is both tranquil and atmospheric.
The work reflects a deep familiarity with the subject, lending the composition both intimacy and character.
The artist, Delyth Reid, is a member of the Glasgow Art Club. Her work draws on both close engagement with nature and a scientific sensibility, resulting in compositions that are both expressive and carefully observed.
The painting was produced for the Glasgow Art Club’s recent exhibition.
The lucky winner should contact the Jumblebee desk at the end of the auction, either to collect the painting or to agree a day to collect it.

This striking composition presents a familiar landscape transformed through a fractured, reflective perspective, as if viewed through broken glass. The silhouetted tree—defined by its intricate, curling
branches—emerges against a richly coloured sunset sky of soft blues, violets, and warm amber tones.
The interplay between structure and fragmentation gives the work a dynamic, almost architectural quality.
The artist, Delyth Reid, is a member of the Glasgow Art Club. Her work is inspired by the natural world and informed by her scientific background.
The painting was produced for the Glasgow Art Club’s recent exhibition.
The lucky winner should contact the Jumblebee desk at the end of the auction, either to collect the painting or to agree a day to collect it.

The painting was produced for the Glasgow Art Club’s recent exhibition. The artist, Florence Sinclair-Mahdavi, who works under the name SINCLAIR-M, trained in Madrid and further developed her skills in Paris. Her work has been exhibited internationally.

loss of a family Siamese cat on a ferry seemed like an appropriate

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
