My Life in Light Auction

My landscape photography exhibition My Life in Light comes to an end on the 13th of November at the Central library in Nottingham. To celebrate the success of the exhibition, I am auctioning off all of the images on display, with 50% of the proceeds from the auction going to support Nottingham based Switch Up CIC.

Switch Up provides life-changing support to vulnerable young people in disadvantaged communities. Through sport, mentoring and personal development, we improve the mental and physical well-being of those most vulnerable to exploitation, antisocial behaviour and criminality – and provide the skills, confidence, and motivation for them to re-engage back into education and employment and realise their true potential.

Since 2013, we have successfully supported thousands of at-risk, marginalised young people and their families with our 5 Pillar programme of Mentoring, Employability, Education, Physical Activity and Counselling/Therapy, tailored to meet the complex needs of each individual and build positive futures.

Bidding on images is now open and will remain live until the exhibition 'Wrap Party' on the 13th November at Nottingham Central Library. Bidding will end at 7.30pm during the event, and successful bidders can collect their images directly from the exhibition on the night, where they can be signed by Tracey Whitefoot if required.

Tickets for the Wrap Party are free but must be booked here:

Please come along to help me celebrate what has been an incredible six months for my exhibition and if we can raise some money for a good cause as well then that can’t be bad!

Please note - Successful bidders that are not present at the event can arrange collection / delivery at their convenience. Please note that images will not be posted out so please ensure that you are local enough for collection or delivery. Please contact me if in advance of budding if you are in any doubt.

Disclaimer - any images on display in the exhibition that are damaged between now and the 13th November will be withdrawn from the auction, but the highest bidder will be contacted to let them know.

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
