We’re inviting our wonderful community to contribute to our Michael Hall Centenary Auction which will go live on 22nd April!
Whether it’s a handmade craft, a high-quality secondhand item or a voucher for your business, your donation will help us raise essential funds for our centenary projects.
How It Works:
Submit Your Donation – Add your item directly to the auction site
Administrator Approval – All submissions are reviewed before being listed to ensure they align with the auction guidelines.
Auction Opens – Once approved, your donation will be showcased online for bidding.
Winning Bids – When the auction closes on 21st June, winners will be notified, and we’ll coordinate collection or delivery of the items.

An afternoon workshop to further your artistic skills in life drawing whether you are a complete beginner or an accomplished artist.
An opportunity to practise media and methods you would like to develop in a group setting but with individual help and suggestions to support you.
Various exercises will be presented to shift preconceived ideas with methods to awaken new ways of seeing. I will come around to each artist to check how you are doing.
The first hour will be spent drawing with directed exercises.
Then we will have a break with refreshments and look at one or two volunteered drawings and have a discussion if appropriate.
Followed by another hour drawing with more exercises and ending with a review of the work achieved, showing some of your drawings.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN ART MATERIALS
Tables, easels and boards supplied, and we will have some of paper for sale.
Teas and coffee and biscuits will be provided in the break.

Brien Masters's career has included two professions, in music and education, the latter the focus of his PhD. In addition, he has pursued a decades-long interest in the anthroposophical approach to karma and reincarnation, which has resulted in lectures and workshops on Schubert, Wagner, Böcklin and Garibaldi and published articles on Emerson and Oliphant.
Rahel Kern studied Philosophy at Reading University with a particular focus on modern European Philosophy. She has been an avid student of anthroposophy and the evolution of consciousness as reflected in the development of thought throughout the centuries.
