The 2023 LPO Silent Auction is now open!

Public bidding is now open for our LPO 2023 Auction, from private lessons with our LPO musicians to bespoke hampers, paintings and luxury LPO getaways, treat yourself to our exclusive array of prizes while supporting the work of the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

To bid on this auction, click on the item of interest and enter the amount you would like to bid. Bidding is open to the public from Wednesday 26 April 2023 until 3pm Tuesday 9 May 2023, at which point all the highest bidders will be emailed.

Bidding will reopen during the Gala itself on the evening of Tuesday 9 May and your bid and proxy bid (if you have placed one) will be carried over to the event where bidding will continue on your behalf whenever someone outbids you until it reaches your limit.

All funds raised from the auction will support the work of the London Philharmonic Orchestra on stage and in the community in our 90th anniversary season.

The LPO’s impact is far reaching and diverse, from exceptional concert experiences, development programmes for talented underrepresented young musicians, first time musical experiences for young people and vital connections through music for disabled people. Your support will help us to continue to provide opportunities for people to share in the wonder of music.

Thank you for your generous support of the LPO and we wish you the best of luck with your bidding!

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
