This turned piece of wood art consists of a spalted Scottish birch body of 24 twists, set on a base of dark walnut and topped by a dark walnut finial, which is threaded into a black wood collar. The whole piece is generously finished in a high gloss lacquer for protection, stability and longevity.
The piece was created and privately donated by Stuart Mortimer, who is a nationally and internationally renown professional wood turner. He is one of only three Masters in Turning, which is a lifetime achievement award from the Worshipful Company of Turners, recognising both his outstanding turning capabilities and his holistic involvement in the craft through training, mentoring and his generosity to many charities. His previously gifted work includes a torcher for Saint Pauls Cathedral and the finials on the Royal Barge thrones for the Queens’ Jubilee.

Billy Tannery is a small-batch leather business founded by Jack Millington in 2017. Specialising in goat and deer leather, produced using traditional bark tanning methods, the tannery is located on Jack's family farm in Leicestershire. The goat skins come from British dairy herds and the deer from UK estates, with every hide traceable back to the source. The leather retains its natural marks and variations, so the grain and colour vary slightly across the hide.
This sophisticated laptop pouch, holds most laptops up to 14 inches, is made from goat leather in a small workshop in Somerset. Thoughtfully padded for protection it features a premium brass zip, internal pocket and handy key clip. A perfect companion for work, meetings or travel.

Take home a fantastic Teremana gift box featuring three distinctive tequilas: Blanco, Reposado and Añejo. Crafted in the Jalisco Highlands from 100% Blue Weber agave, the agave is roasted in traditional brick ovens before being distilled in handmade copper pot stills.
The Blanco offers bright citrus notes with a smooth, fresh finish; the Reposado is aged in American whiskey barrels, bringing notes of oak and vanilla; while the Añejo combines rich, warm oak, vanilla and roasted agave with a lightly sweet, complex finish.
Beautifully presented together, this impressive trio is perfect for discovering and enjoying the Teremana range.

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
