The John King Brain Tumour Foundation 'Gala in Your Parlour'

Welcome to the John King Brain Tumour Foundation's first-ever virtual fundraising gourmet Gala Dinner to raise money for vital equipment for St George’s Hospital. 

‘Gala in Your Parlour’ will be an evening distinguished by exquisite food from the Michelin-starred John Williams MBE , Brian Turner CBE and ‘the king of pop ups’ Jimmy Garcia. It will also feature guest appearances by celebrities including Harry Hill, a silent auction, and a live auction of a wide range of exclusive experiences hosted by Christopher Biggins.  Instead of dinner at a London hotel, a gourmet feast will be delivered to guests in their own homes and everyone will log on with their computers to enjoy the evening entertainment.

The John King Brain Tumour Foundation, was set up in memory of John King, who sadly passed away in 2016 after a brave and dignified fight against his illness. John was a much-loved chef with an international reputation, and the foundation and its mission is a lasting legacy for such a wonderful man.

This registered charity supports the Atkinson Morley Wing of St George’s Hospital which treats brain diseases and disorders and where John received such excellent care. The John King Brain Tumour Foundation fundraises for surgical equipment and research not currently funded by the NHS and also the McKissock Ward roof garden which the foundation maintains.
