AUCTION ENDS TODAY AT 9PM

This is the 8th year The Green Tree Gallery has supported the Macmillan Coffee Mornings as Cancer Care is a cause close to our hearts.    We hope you will agree raising funds through this year's event is so important in view of the extreme financial strain placed on charities by the 2020 C-19 pandemic.

All auction 'lots' are generously donated by our Artists and Makers who have chosen with care what to give from their work.  We are as thankful to them for their generosity and support as we are to you for bidding.  We are sure you will find something to tempt you and hope you will enjoy finding out a bit more about our Artists and Makers!

We think bidding is self-explanatory but if you are stuck do contact us for help (e: info@greentreegallery.co.uk).  Auction ends TODAY at 9pm on Sunday 4 October.

Please note:  As we would love to meet the successful bidders, we are hoping that most lots will be collected from the Gallery. Once paid for (card payment over the phone), we can store items until convenient for you to collect.  If you are bidding from further afield, we will cover UK postage (and packing!) but would ask that any overseas bidders make arrangements for their own shipping  / collection. Any lot that isn’t suitable for posting due to size or fragility, is marked “For collection only”.  Some of our higher value lots may have a reserve set.

The Green Tree Gallery is a contemporary art and crafts gallery founded in 2008 on the edge of Haywards Heath in Sussex.  Based in a barn in the beautiful surroundings of Borde Hill Garden, the gallery features a wide range of affordable arts and crafts from both local artists and those further afield.  Our postcode is RH16 1XP.

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
