Come and enjoy a cocktail and discover six fantastic gins while raising much-needed funds for the Dunkirk Refugee Women's Centre.
London Dry, Old Tom, Navy Strength, Barrel-Aged – there's a universe of different gins out there beyond the G&T. Come and dip your toe into this wonderful world and discover six very different gins while raising funds for a good cause.
After a welcome cocktail, join Kristiane Sherry, spirits writer and educator, for an informal guided tasting session exploring the vibrant and varied spirit, from traditional London Dry styles to more unusual expressions.
All profits from the Good Spirits Gin Tasting will be donated to the Dunkirk Refugee Women's Centre, an organisation which offers women and children in the Dunkirk refugee camp a safe space to relax and complete daily routines.
The Women's Centre have provided support to thousands of women but their work continues to be vital. With the closure of the gymnasium space and no room in nearby accommodation centres many men, women and children are being forced to return to the ‘jungle’; sleeping outdoors and living in terrible conditions. Funds to provide warm shelter for these families are desperately needed. Click here for more information about the charity: https://www.gofundme.com/womenscentre
There will also be a raffle with some fantastic prizes generously donated from local businesses.
Come and do good while drinking great spirits!
Tickets are £30 (+ booking fee) with 100% of profits going to the charity.
