Dyscover provides long term support and opportunities to people with aphasia, which is a neurological condition most often acquired through stoke, brain injury or a rare form of dementia. Aphasia is isolating and frustrating and so we work to inform, support and empower people with aphasia, and their families, to manage their communication disability to re-engage with life. We create an aphasia-friendly environment in which people feel included, valued and have a sense of purpose. We rely on the income from our community fundraising events to be able to continue to provide our crucial services.
