Burlington Christmas Fair AuctionRead more ...
Hello & a very warm welcome to the Burlington Schools' Christmas auction.
The PTA have worked extremely hard to bring you a fantastic selection of auction items, so please do take a look and start bidding; Remember that every single penny will go to helping our children, so please be as generous in your bidding as you can. All the money raised by this auction will be used by the schools to purchase additional items that the school budget won't stretch to. For example, sports equipment, interactive whiteboards, music diaries and and a music garden.
Please be aware that this auction is public, meaning that anyone is able to bid, so please do spread the word amongst family and friends and feel free to help promote our auction site via your own social media channels. (But do remember that any physical items must be collected from New Malden)
Finally, a huge 'Thank You' to all those individuals & businesses who have supported us and been so generous with their donations.
Bidding will be open from 8pm Friday 22nd November until 8pm Wednesday 11th December .
A bid on an auction item is considered a commitment to purchase the item. If you have won an auction item, you will be informed after the auction close. Payment for each auction item must be made in full before the item is released.
Payment & Collection information
Once full payment has been received, winning bidders will be sent an email giving detailed collection instructions.
Let the bidding commence!
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
