Inspired by Carbilly Tor, situated on the rugged landscape of Bodmin Moor, this necklace reflects the moor’s ancient granite outcrops of stones which have slowly weathered and worn over thousands of years, leaving curious shapes and cavities.

The green aventurine stones evoke the grasses and lichen which thrive on the granite, while the painted enamel represents the natural fissures in the rocks. The garnet stone at the base of the pendant adds a vibrant pop of pink giving contrast to the beads.

Turn the pendant over and you will see it has a secret polished sterling silver cavity. The necklace is made of sterling silver with 9ct gold and is hallmarked by the London Assay Office.

This fabulous wool felted artwork is called "Towards The Rumps". The Rumps is a dramatic twin-headland promontory on Cornwall's North coast. This image represents a moment from a frequently made and favourite walk. It shows a landscape with deep roots in history and a unique ecology of flora and fauna. The human history of this place includes the echo of an iron age fort and spindle whorls and sheep bones have been found on site..

Elizabeth-Jane Grose’s work explores our deep-rooted connection with the natural world. Working from a smallholding overlooking the Camel Estuary, she creates landscapes and site-specific works that reflect the rhythms of rural life and the enduring relationship between humans, animals, and the land. She grows plants to make natural dyes and keeps a small flock of rare-breed sheep for wool. She uses these materials, sourced directly from her surroundings to create these evocative and elemental large-scale pieces. Her practice follows seasonal cycles of shearing, planting and harvesting, and invites viewers to experience the landscape as a living, breathing system shaped over millennia.

Her work has been exhibited widely, with previous exhibitions and collections including: the Eden Project Florilegium Archive; Das Urwort Museum at ACC Galerie Weimar; Earthly Delights for Ikon Touring; the Royal Society of Marine Artists at the Mall Galleries, London; Flamm ‘26; and public commissions such as Birdsong, Legacy and Lining up the Ducks and Waders for Halton Borough Council’s Wigg Island Visitors Centre, and River of Words for the Environment Agency.

Elizabeth -Jane studied Fine Art at Reading University and Goldsmiths College, University of London. She lives in North Cornwall with her husband, dog, and twelve sheep.

Priory Park Pond is a framed original study in oil on prepared paper . It measures 47.5 cm x 30 cm.

This is a well - known scene in Bodmin's town centre with the origins of the pond dating back to Bodmin's earliest history as the monastery's fish pond.

Annie;s background

Annie is perhaps best known for her tree studies and paintings depicting the rural landscape of inland Cornwall where she lives and works. Annie has perfected reflecting both the beauty and energy of trees and our natural landscape.

In 1961 Annie studies High Wycombe School of Art, gaining NDD in Book Illustration and Graphic Design in 1965. She worked as a graphic designer and painter in London for several years before moving to Cornwall in 1973. In 1975 Sir Peter Blake asked her to join a group of seven like-minded artists, the group was subsequently called The Brotherhood of Ruralists. The Ruralist’s first public showing as a unified entity took place at the Royal Academy in 1976 followed by the Bath Festival in 1977. From these showings until 2007 the Ruralists maintained a vigorous exhibition program.


Annie taught for seventeen years for North Cornwall’s Adult Education Service. She has had many solo exhibitions and was an honorary member of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts. She was also a member of The St. Ives Society of Artists and The Arborealists.

"Another gentle breeze" is an unframed monoprint (meaning a one-off)on paper, mounted on card. It has a gentle ethereal charm found in all of Fijke's work, which is about love loss and longing, and the stuff that dreams are made of.

Fijke fell in love with printmaking while studying for an art degree at CORNWALL College, after a career in medicine. She creates her monoprints using a mix of techniques: drypoint, collagraph, printing with found materials, stencils and stamps, etc.

At the heart of her practice sits a routine of daily drawing. She just starts, with no other intention but to trust her hand and see what appears. She now has thousands of drawings that form a visual record of her life, in a language that expresses what she can't quite put into words.

Originally from the Netherlands, she has lived in West Cornwall since 1998 and works from her studio in Krowji in Redruth.

Cornish Whelk Shell Pendant

Found weathered by the Cornish sea, this beautiful whelk shell had already lived a life before it was transformed into silver. Slightly broken and softened by the tides, its worn edges tell a story of stormy waters, hidden coves and long walks along the shoreline, searching for treasures washed ashore.

The original shell has been carefully recreated in solid silver, preserving its intricate curves, textures and natural imperfections. Rather than disguising the marks left by the sea, Rebecca celebrates them — making them part of the character and story of the piece.

Hells Mouth print

This photo screen print (11/80) captures Cornwall at its most dramatic, beautiful and wild. Hells Mouth is a cove with towering cliffs above the crashing waves.

Tony Minnion works extensively as a painter in response to the local landscape – the impressive North Cliffs on the North Cornish coast – an awesome place of crashing seas, numerous caves and tall, crumbling rock faces.

He paints and draws to communicate the magic, drama and power that this special place evokes working ‘plein air’ in hard-to-reach places threatened by encroaching tides, rock falls and precipitous drops. His work aims to articulate his emotional and spiritual response to the awesome power of this natural world

This large, fluted bowl is made from spalted beech, that is wood that has had a pattern created by fungus. This pattern , the deep colour and the fluting make this much more than a place to put things. It measures 38cm in diameter and is 8 cm high making it perfect for many uses.

Matthew lives on a smallholding in Cornwall, on the southern edge of Bodmin Moor. Surrounded by woodland, he works mainly with local wood from dead or dying trees, working with the wood to give it new form.

He is an approved AWGB (Association of Woodturners of Great Britain) tutor, but originally trained as a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, and is particularly interested in the sculptural elements of turned pieces, especially Hollow Forms. Woodturning for him is an art form through which we may bring something from our internal landscape, complete with all its character and imperfections, into a tangible external form that can be shared, and that may just be recognised and resonate with others.

This A2 size print is Ruth's fun celebration of Bodmin . This tongue in cheek study features all that makes Bodmin the special place it is .

Her work centres around character and expression and she is drawn to the humour and absurdity of ordinary life. She is a people watcher and has filled many small sketch books over the years, surreptitiously drawing people in public spaces. She works with everything from acrylic, oil , watercolour, ink, chalk, fabric 3D and digital.

Ruth is a figurative artist and illustrator who attended Art school in Manchester and Brighton and Graduated with a BA Hons in illustration. Whilst working as a freelance illustrator she moved to Cornwall and began running a residential recording studio for many years. Whilst working there she had little time for art, undertaking only a scattering of illustration jobs and commissions for caricatures and paintings. She happily returned to art full time 4 years ago.

Leaning and Dreaming is a framed Limited Edition (1 of 10) giclee print on water colour paper. It is typical of Nicky's distinctive storytelling style leaving much open to the viewer's interpretation. It measures approximately 58 cm x 58 cm.

Nicky has been a practising artist since 2012 and is based in Cornwall with a studio at Trewidden Gardens, Penzance. She is a painter and works in acrylics, watercolour and inks. Her subject matter crosses between the figurative and the landscape. The ideas behind her work are informed by her travels and experiences . Lockdown changed her perspective to look locally, at nature and treasure what surrounds us.

This cheeky seagull vase is wonderfully tactile and fired to low stoneware is both dishwasher and microwave proof. It will make you smile every time you look at it .
It measures approximately 19 cm high with a width (including the beak) of 12 cm.

Lincoln mostly makes wheel thrown tableware which is extensively decorated employing 'slip trailing' which gives the decoration a distinctive raised surface. Colourful designs are used to convey a sense of fun and joyousness.

Born and raised in a small coastal town in Australia , Lincoln now lives in South West Cornwall. He has travelled extensively which has informed his work as has his keen interest in archaeology as he has worked on many excavations around the world .

Entitled "Afterglow" this stunning black porcelain vase has coloured porcelain Nerikomi inlays. Penny uses various coloured clays and slips, which she mixes herself, and uses with black and white porcelain. These are inlaid, using the ancient Japanese art of Nerikomi, into the part thrown piece. Finally a very thin application of 9ct gold lustre is added and given a third firing, making each piece unique in style and design.

It measures 8cm diameter at the top, 11 cm at its widest point and 7 cm at the base. It is 13.5 cm high. It weighs 697 grams and holds 750ml in volume.

The coastline of Cornwall has long been a source of inspiration for Penny's work.
Its weathered cliffs layered rock formations and changing light are translated into the black and white porcelain together with oxides forming the varying patterns from the Nerikomi inlays.

Her pieces are not intended as representations of a particular place, but as responses to the experience of being there – the stillness after the tide, the warmth of an evening sky reflected on stone, and the enduring rhythm of the sea. Through restrained form and layered surface, she seeks to capture the lingering light that remains after the sun has set in the quiet afterglow held within the landscape.

This pair of prints are reproductive prints of original oil paintings. “Graze By The Trees” is from a walk on St Anthonys Head amongst the Devon Reds cows and “Windswept Wooded Path” is from a coastal cobbled path on Hydra, a Greek Island . They both measure approximately 45cm x 35cm

Diane Hadden is a painter originally from Northern Ireland. She has lived in Cornwall since 1999 and currently has a studio at Trewidden Artists Studios near Penzance in Cornwall. She studied Painting & Printmaking at Hull 1985-88 followed by a Post Graduate Year in Cyprus in 1988-89.

The natural light of this area and coastal structures are now a strong influence on her work. Rural and coastal landscapes are her main source of inspiration. Her process is one of recording time spent in the landscape through photography & sketches which are then developed into structures for painting in the studio. Colour ideas evolve from these compositions to suit a mood, time or sensation which is pleasing to her eye. She is largely influenced by Impressionists, Abstract Expressionism and Fauvism.

This raised verdigris copper bowl displays Rebecca’s ongoing exploration of form, colour and the idea of ‘vessel.. It measures 16cm in diameter and is 3cm high.

Having been taught the rudiments of raising at college, Rebecca has continued to discover more through practise and research. She finds the methodical and rhythmic hammering that this process requires relaxing and almost mediative. It becomes a conversation between metal, hammer and mind.

Rebecca works with colour and form, using a variety of techniques to explore these themes, such as raising, press forming, fabrication, etching and patination. She fell in love with patination while at college and has continuously tried new ways of colouring her metal pieces.

‘College’ was Middlesex Polytechnic (London) and de Montfort University (Leicester) where Rebecca studied Three Dimensional Design and specialised in metal. Rebecca graduated in 1996 with a BA(hons) degree and eventually got round to her MA in 2015, graduating from Plymouth College of Art with an MA in Contemporary Craft.

The move to Cornwall in 2005 initially disrupted Rebecca’s practise but gradually the ever-present fascination with geology, wild weather and the constantly changing colours of the county fed into her work. The industrial and architectural history of Cornwall also influences her work and choice of materials, such as copper and pewter. The combination of the soft sheen of pewter and the strong
earthy colours of the copper feels harmonious.

This framed copperplate engraving is called Camel Valley, Cornwall from a edition run of 90. Image size is 8 x 12 cm. Copperplate engraving is a slow, laborious technique which uses tools to cut lines directly onto a copper plate.
His limited editions are printed by hand, using a Harry Rochat press, using paper that is mainly hand or mould made. His use of a single colour ink, usually black or umber, demonstrates superbly the simple line of engravings; where his work is more detailed, the use of a single ink gives the tonal illusion of colour in the print. Each print is unique.
Brian Hanscomb is regarded as one of the country’s leading copperplate engravers. Born in 1944 at Croxley Green, Hertfordshire, Brian followed the family tradition and was apprenticed at the age of 16 in the print industry as a letter press engraver, later qualifying as a gravure industrial engraver. He left the print industry in 1979 to work full time as an artist engraver at home, now in St Breward, Cornwall.

Return is a framed Photopolymer etching 1/20. She had recently read Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, where the central character spends time in a sanatorium in the mountains, surrounded by trees, when this image emerged from an experimental drawing process. The haunting quality of the story felt apt to reference in this work, with its own other-worldly quality.

Helen is a writer, an illustrator and a researcher who believes books and art can change the world.

She returned to Cornwall in 2018 to study illustration at Falmouth University and pursue a creative career. Before this she worked as a research and behaviour change consultant in some of the poorest parts of the world. Along the way she studied social anthropology at Edinburgh and creative writing at Sussex. Her work includes site-specific art, books and book covers, contributing to exhibitions and creative projects where the arts are a vehicle for social change.

Atlantic Drift is an unframed screen print (3rd of 20) inspired by Colin's love of South American music and culture. It measures 58 cm x 36 cm. Colin's starting point is to draw on subject matter which surrounds and inspires him: observed imagery, symbolism and visual metaphors, i.e. landscapes, weather conditions and information based on research.


Colin graduated from the Royal College of Art and worked as a practicing illustrator in publishing, advertising, print, packaging, animation, and exhibition design.

He then made the decision to discontinue illustrating and teaching and to focus solely on printmaking. In 2013 he moved to Cornwall with his family where he continued to use screen-printing as a means to produce imagery, reflecting his vision of the environment in which he now lives.

Kirsten Becker has lived and worked creatively in Cornwall for most of her life. She has always had an interest in colour, texture and design and has worked across a range of art forms. She takes her inspiration from the rugged coastline, ever changing sea and shoreline and the rugged and wild moors of Cornwall. The natural contrasts, unfolding colours and hues from the surrounding landscape are represented across her art work.
