Lisa Williams is an Honorary Fellow in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh and is a guest lecturer at universities across Scotland. She is the founder of the Edinburgh Caribbean Association and curates education programmes, arts events and walking tours to promote awareness of Black Scottish history and links between Scotland and the Caribbean. Lisa has done extensive work in schools on anti-racist pedagogy and history and works as a consultant to heritage and cultural organisations. She was a member of the Advisory Group to the Scottish Government on Empire, Slavery and Scottish Museums. Her latest book is The Big Book of UK History by Penguin Random House.

Former History Master, Keith Hay will take a group of up to 6 guests on a tour of Canford Manor...

Strictly speaking there have been five manors in existence at Canford over a period of over 2000 years and a history that incorporates a vast area of South East Dorset.

Keith will provide an exploration of those manors (highlighting the most recent house designed by the great architect Sir Charles Barry). Included will be stories from an array of famous owners up until the establishment of Canford School in 1923.

The tour will finish in the Guest family's own private museum, Nineveh Court with refreshments.
