Peckham Sponsors Refugees and Peckham Bazaar are hosting a night of fine food, wine, and music, to give a refugee family the ultimate gift - an opportunity to rebuild their lives away from war, famine, and persecution.

Many of us know about the plight of refugees, with 6.6 million currently residing in refugee camps worldwide. Whilst we can often feel powerless in the face of such misery, we now have the opportunity to make a positive change to a refugee family’s life. With your support, our local community sponsorship scheme Peckham Sponsors Refugees can bring a refugee family into the diverse community of Peckham through the official Home Office initiative. This government-sanctioned initiative enables a local community to provide housing and other care for a resettled refugee family; all that is required is the raising of funds, £9,000 to be exact, all of which will go directly to the family and their needs.
