On the weekend of November 29–30, the Kindred Creativity Club will host a bookish charity auction in support of The Trussell Trust — a UK anti-poverty charity and network of food banks working to end hunger and destitution.
A total of eleven bookish prizes will be up for grabs! The highest bid received by November 30 at 11:59 p.m. will win each item. All prizes will be mailed out by their generous donors within two months of the auction’s end.

About the Trussell Trust
Food banks in The Trussell Trust network distributed 2.9 million emergency food parcels in the past 12 months — equivalent to one parcel every 11 seconds. (source)
In the UK (2023/24), 7.5 million people experienced food poverty, and 2.89 million food parcels were distributed by The Trussell Trust — the highest number in its history.
Record food bank use coincides with the rising cost of living, particularly affecting disabled people, renters, and households with children.
While The Trussell Trust provides a significant portion of food aid, other independent food banks also operate across the UK, with their numbers increasing during the pandemic.(sources: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4)
