Cabaret Vs Cancer
Cabaret vs Cancer supports those affected by cancer, bringing together the UK cabaret community across the UK to raise funds. From bucket collections at Edinburgh Fringe to our glittering David Bowie-themed cabaret spectaculars, we have been supporting those affected by cancer, raising over £50,000 since our formation in 2014.
Our particular focus for 2017/18 is the phenomenal work of the child bereavement team at St Joseph’s Hospice in Bethnal Green, who support children with a parent in palliative care. We also support the financial-aid team at Macmillan Cancer Support and the research teams at Cancer Research. Making a tangible difference to the lives of people affected by cancer is our primary aim and we are delighted to work with some of the most talented cabaret performers in the UK to do so.
