Oil on canvas in hand-painted frame.
25cm x 60cm (size does not include the frame)
Guide Price £400-£600
Emma is a full time artist and primarily a contemporary landscape painter. Emma works with oil paint, both in the outdoors and in her studio. Her paintings captures the atmospheric colour and light of the surrounding countryside using fluid brushwork and a bold colour palette creating vibrant, uplifting paintings that emit a sense of quiet optimism and calm. Emma’s compositions are carefully considered, giving the viewer a sense of presence and connection to a place, an invitation to slow down and reconnect with the beauty of the natural world around us. This painting, ‘Towards the Downs’ captures the experience of walking along the meandering pathway, high up on the Ridgeway. Using a rich variety of greens and pinks Emma depicts the dramatic shadows of the deep ridges and ditches of the ancient track and the contrasting soft textures of the wild hedgerows and subtle hues of the distant, shadowy hills.
Emma has exhibited in group and solo shows both in London and Wiltshire and is currently showing paintings in ‘October 300’, at The MADE Gallery in Pewsey. Emma also takes on commissions, her work lends itself to create a painting of a favourite view or place with a special meaning.

Also included are two images of examples of large paintings (NFS) - ‘View from Hambledon Hill’ and ‘Heatwave’.

Blaze is a vibrant blend of exceptionally colourful annual wildflowers, perfect for brightening areas of farms, estates, or large gardens. The striking mass of flower heads creates an impressive visual display while attracting a wide variety of insects and beneficial invertebrates.
Sown in early spring, these colourful flowers begin blooming from late June and continue flowering through to October, providing a long-lasting summer display.
Although the mixture is primarily made up of annual species, it can persist for up to three years depending on how the area is managed.
Blaze grows well on most productive soils but performs best in open, sunny locations and does not thrive in shaded areas.

Through the vision and ambition of King Edward III, the first guns in England were forged in the Tower of London in the early 14th Century. Over the next 700 years gunmaking grew and spread through the streets and alleyways between the Tower and the White Chapel. Today, the Proof House of the Worshipful Comany of Gunmakers stands as the last vestige of the fascinating story of how guns made in the East End reached every part of the Empire and beyond.
Join us on a walk to explore key locations in the rich history of the British Gun Trade and the Gunmakers' Company culminating with a tour of the Proof House which is still testing guns in much the same way it has over the last 385 years. Your guide will be a Past Master of the Company. There will be a chance to take refreshment in one of the Trade's traditional watering holes en route."
Date to be arranged by mutual convenience - walk and tour about 2.5 hours
Meet on Tower Bridge. Finish at the Proof House near East Aldgate Station.
Up to 4 people
Simon is a retired Royal Artillery Officer, a past Master of the Worshipful Company of Gunmakers and makes working bronze cannon by traditional methods.
To be taken by arrangement with Simon West before 1st October 2027.

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
