LEH’s history reaches back over the past three centuries and we expect our future to reach far into the next one…and beyond. We want to create for each student the most nurturing environment, where they are eager to learn, challenged to try new things, and empowered to be their very best self. Where they are loved and appreciated exactly for who they are and where they are taught to care for others in the very same way. We have set some exciting and vitally important goals. With your continued support, we will be able to achieve them. We are extremely grateful to have you as part of our community.

Your involvement will help us raise funds to offer the opportunity of an LEH education to any bright pupil who wishes to come here, regardless of their family's financial circumstances. Bursaries can prove transformational; they can open doors that  many students did not dream possible. This academic year we are supporting 57 students, with 41 on 100% bursaries and we aim to double this number within ten years. The demand for bursaries is greater than ever. Last year, applications went up by over 50%, so there are still many deserving students whom we are unable to support because of lack of funds.

LEH is not supported by any Trust or Foundation, so all bursaries are funded through the generosity of alumnae, parents and friends of the School. The proceeds from every gift that you buy in the silent auction and every penny you donate will go directly to the Bursary Fund.
