The opportunity to visit Vertical Aerospace’s Flight Testing Centre at Cotswold Airport where the winner will meet one of their Test Pilots, receive a briefing on the VX4 and a tour round the prototype for Vertical Aerospace VX4, which was shown the first time on a public airshow at RIAT. The VX4, a new type of aircraft, designed, manufactured and tested in the UK, is an electric Vertical Take-off and Landing Aircraft, capable of taking off and landing like a helicopter. While the civil version is fully electric, a hybrid-electric version will allow it to fly up to 1,000 miles or carry a payload of up to 1,100kg, delivering new capabilities to defence customers. With civil certification expected in 2028, the aircraft is currently undergoing extensive piloted flight testing at Cotswold Airport.
Alongside this fantastic tour, the winner will receive a unique picture of the aircraft, signed by all of Vertical's test pilots (Chief Test Pilot Simon Davies, Test Pilot Tim Eldridge and Test Pilot Paul Stone) and a patch of the Flight Test team.

Percival Prentice Propeller Blade – A Tribute to Flight and Heritage. This polished propeller blade, mounted in a base of solid wood, is a rare and evocative fragment of aviation history. Originally part of the Percival Prentice - a postwar training aircraft commissioned by the RAF in the late 1940s - this piece once helped shape the flight paths of countless RAF pilots during their formative years.
Crafted by the Percival Aircraft Company, the Prentice was the RAF’s first all-metal trainer, designed to meet Air Ministry Specification T.23/43. With its distinctive side-by-side cockpit and robust design, it served at flying schools across the UK, including the RAF College at Cranwell, until its retirement in the early 1950s. Now reimagined as a sculptural tribute, this propeller blade stands not only as a symbol of engineering and aeronautical progress, but also as a celebration of the men and women who trained, served and soared in its wake.

The opportunity for four people to fly a WWII Spitfire from a full-size replica cockpit. This amazing experience includes a take-off, aerobatics, low flying, flying under a bridge and performing a landing - each one flies for 30 minutes. Brian Smith, who served with the RAF and later as a pilot with British Airways, has constructed a unique Spitfire flight experience in a barn at his Wisborough Green home in West Sussex. Uniforms hang on the wall, logbooks sit next to ration books and old newspapers, and Vera Lynn records grace the airwaves to create a nostalgic feel to the experience. The cockpit is based on the Griffon powered Spitfire Mk XIV with realistic controls, displays and the latest computer technology. Have a look at thespitfireexperience.com. Donated by The Spitfire Experience.
T&Cs Minimum height of 152cm/5ft tall. Children must be a minimum of 16 years of age and accompanied by an adult. No flying experience needed, the instructors will provide a briefing. The pilot needs to be able to climb in and out of the cockpit, sit unaided and operate the controls. Anyone with a lower body circumference of over 120cm/48 inches will find this difficult.

This extraordinary painting is far more than artwork – it is a deeply personal and historic treasure. Originally won by our generous donor at the Two Lancasters Gala Dinner at RAF Coningsby in 2014, it has been lovingly cherished for over a decade.
What makes this piece truly priceless is that it bears the signatures of several Bomber Command veterans, many of whom are no longer with us. Their names and legacy are preserved here, making this an irreplaceable piece of living history.
For our donor, this donation carries deep personal meaning. Her grandfather served as a tail gunner in 101 Squadron at Ludford Magna during the war. Growing up, she was inspired by his stories of courage, camaraderie, and sacrifice, and to her, he was – and always will be – her hero. Now, this remarkable painting is being offered to find a new custodian – someone who shares the same respect and admiration for Bomber Command’s sacrifices.
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a piece of history that embodies remembrance, sacrifice, and pride.

This limited-edition book, …So Few: A Folio Dedicated to All Who Fought and Won the Battle of Britain, 10th July–31st October 1940, is more than just a collector’s item. It is personally signed by members of “The Few” themselves.
Produced by the RAF Benevolent Fund in 1990 to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, only 401 copies were ever made. This particular volume is No. 352, bound in dark blue cloth with striking silver lettering to the spine and cover, and finished with an inset of RAF Wings on the front.
Inside, you’ll find 25 silhouette portraits of Battle of Britain pilots and crew, alongside their autographs; a direct and personal connection to the heroes who defended Britain in 1940. The folio also includes evocative illustrations, facsimile letters, and documents that vividly bring this pivotal chapter of history to life.
A rare, signed tribute to “The Few” and an extraordinary treasure for any collector of RAF history or military memorabilia.

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another
member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new
maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
