Somerset Wildlife Trust Spring Art Auction - CLOSING TONIGHT!

Graham Barton from BBC1's Home's under the Hammer, is presenting the final two hours between 7-9pm tonight as bids draw to a close.

Make sure you have Jumblebee open so you can place your bids whilst listening to Graham live on  Zoom.

Please dig deep and bid boldly to protect the wildlife and places that inspire these artists here in Somerset.

To join via Zoom, go to https://bit.ly/3vwBdH3

Local wildlife and landscape artists have joined together to donate over 120 pieces of their artwork to raise funds to help us protect the species and special places that inspire them.

From paintings and textiles to sculptures and ceramics, to prints and even an art class, there is something for everyone.

Bidding opens: 7pm Friday 2nd April 2021
Bidding closes: 7-9pm Friday 30th April 2021 at 1 minute intervals, and from 7pm hosted live on Zoom by Homes under the Hammer’s Graham Barton.
To join via Zoom, go to https://bit.ly/3vwBdH3

How to bid

  • Browse the lots – click on the filters above to help you.
  • Once you’ve found the pieces you love, enter the maximum amount you’d be happy to donate for the art.
  • Automatic (proxy) bidding is now turned off, so you will need to place your bids manually.
  • If you have previously placed a proxy bid, the system will continue to bid for you until your maximum bid is reached. If you are outbid and you'd like to bid again, you will need to place manual bids.
  • Bidding will close on all lots between 7pm – 9pm on Friday 30th April at 1 minute intervals. Timings are displayed on each lot, and are presented in descending order, with lot 127 finishing first at 7pm, and lot 1 finishing last at 9pm.
  • From 7pm on Friday 30th April, Graham Barton from BBC1’s Homes under the Hammer, will be presenting the auction live so you can settle in for a fun and perhaps slightly nail-biting evening of bidding for wildlife. Access the live stream via the link above.

Postage/collection

Postage within the UK can be paid at time of paying for your lot. Should you wish to collect your art in person, contact Kate Wilson, with your name, phone number and your winning lot number, on fundraising@somersetwildlife.org or 01823 652404, who will remove the postage cost to enable you to pay. Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse postage costs if already paid.

Overseas postage: If you live overseas, please email Kate with your address to arrange postage – contact details above. She will ask for a donation to cover the additional postage cost.

Tremendous thanks go to all of the artists for so generously donating their work in order to raise funds to help us protect the wildlife we all care so much about in Somerset.

If you’d like to contact Somerset Wildlife Trust with auction queries, please contact Kate on  fundraising@somersetwildlife.org or call 01823 652404.
