“5 Stars Manchester Evening News!
a triumphant return for Feelgood and a tantalising promise of great things to come in the park” Manchester Theatre Awards/Northern Soul
Feelgood’s award winning outdoor shows are back! 2017 starts with Shakespeare’s classic comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream! The park becomes the stage for this tale of magic and intrigue, love and laughter as audiences delve deep into the woods to encounter feuding fairies; hapless labourers and lustful lovers all drawn together by the meddling antics of chief mischief maker Puck! It’s a summer treat for all the family. The Egerton family who lived at Heaton Hall will make an 'appearance' and the final wedding will take place in the stunning salon inside our magnificent hall.
"Feelgood's outdoor shows are a jewel in Manchester's theatrical crown"... Manchester Evening News "
You will walk from scene to scene though the park mainly around the cafe/dell/animal centre area and then to the Hall. Each scene lasts approx 15/20 mins. If you are happy to stand (as many are) please feel free, or bring a blanket, cushion or light fold up chair to sit on and a picnic to eat beforehand.
