Welcome to our auction of prizes which is OPEN for bidding - you do not need
to be attending the ball to bid on the most fantastic prizes!
We wanted to take the opportunity to say a massive thank you to all those who have so generously donated the superb prizes and sponsored the evening including Cantell & Co Sales & Lettings, David's Jewellers and New Victoria Hospital.
The proceeds from the Ball will help to fund specialist mobility aids for youngsters which will help them to reach their potential, mental health support for unpaid Carers and their cared for which will help to keep families together, and a much-needed community ambulance for the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in Putney, so that patients can go on home visits or social outings with their families who can 'self-drive' the adapted vehicle.
Any support you can give through bidding on prizes and making a donation will be so very much appreciated and will help to make such a difference in 2026.

"I completed a full-time degree in Fine Art at Cheltenham Art School (now part of the University of Gloucester). I am fluent in Spanish, French and Italian and travel regularly with a sketchbook, finding inspiration in France, Italy, Spain, Malta and Morocco. In the summer months I tend my small Chiswick garden.
Travel now seems a remote dream, but my sketchbooks are still a reminder of different journeys, and a useful source of inspiration for paintings. In February this year I revisited Marrakech, and have made several paintings with a Moroccan theme.
I was also inspired by the serenity and glowing colours of an exhibition of Indian watercolours at the Wallace Collection in London.
Matisse has always been my great love, but I have always felt a strong connection with the Scottish Colourists: it must be my student days in Edinburgh!"

The Victoria Foundation has pledged to continue to fund over 320 hours of therapy for unpaid carers and the people they care for in our local community through the work of Crossroads Care Richmond and Kingston (CCR&K)
The therapy will take place be in the Therapy Rooms at CCR&K, which The Victoria Foundation funded from the proceeds of its fundraising ball in 2019, and will provide a ‘Caring’ experience to help prevent family breakdown and crisis for Parent Carers and Children and Young People with physical, emotional and medical disabilities.
This will also help to reduce exhaustion and frustration, together with feelings of depression and isolation, all of which are contributing to factors leading to family breakdown.
Your support is so appreciated and will help to support the care needs of this vulnerable and particularly socially isolated group in our local community.

In May 2019, Professor Murray was made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) by the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, in recognition of his contributions to the motorsport and automotive sectors over the past 50 years.
