St Williams Association 2026 Colour Run 19th June 3.30-6pm

By purchasing tickets to the SWA Colour Run you thereby agree to the following conditions:

1. I am aged 18 years or above and wish for my child to participate in the St William's Association Colour

Event and I am the parent/legal guardian of the registered child/children who is/are under the

age of 18.

2. I agree that my child will participate in the Colour Event in accordance with the specific safety rules

clearly explained by school staff at the beginning of the challenge.

3. I understand that participating in the St William's School colour event is a potentially hazardous

activity where coloured powder will be thrown at and around my child/ children during the event.

However, I understand that the powder is EN71 Certified and we as a School / SWA have done

everything possible to ensure our powders are the safest available, but I understand that the

suitability for my child/ children to take part in the event falls on myself.

4. I agree that my child will wear any safety equipment in accordance with the safety instructions and

risk assessment, there is an advisory to wear eye protection. Sunglasses and prescription eyewear

are not technically eye protection.

5. I agree to provide a white or light coloured t-shirt to wear on the course and accept that the school and SWA are not liable if it or any clothing or footwear worn is damaged or stained during the event.

6. Participants are expected to follow the instructions that are given to them. They must adhere to

school rules show respect towards the other pupils taking part, school staff, and other parents / legal

guardians.

7. I confirm that my child is in good health and has no medical impairments that may prevent them

from participating in the activity. If I have any concerns about their physical condition, I will consult my

doctor before participating in the activity and inform the school straight away.

8. I acknowledge that participation in the activity may be physically demanding and that there are risks

of injury. I agree that the school and SWA are not liable for any injury incurred during the Colour Run and that I will supervise my child at all times.

9. I agree that no other powders will be brought on to site on the day of the event.

10. I hereby indemnify the St William's Association against all claims made by any other person.

11. I acknowledge that I have read, fully understand and agree with all of the above prior to participating.
