MITRA Music for Nepal: Auction, Shop and Donations

It's a year since the Nepal earthquakes killed over 8,000 people, injured more than 21,000 and hundreds of thousands more have been displaced as entire villages were flattened. As detailed in this article (click here), the country rebuilds after its worst natural disaster in over 80 years,  and our help is still very much needed.

MITRA Music for Nepal
is raising funds for small local grass-roots causes to help vulnerable women in one of the poorest parts of the country, and to reduce animal cruelty:

Action Works Nepal (85% of funds raised)
Animal Nepal (15% of funds raised)

MITRA Music for Nepal is co-founded by musician Anni Hogan and climber Cathy O'Dowd. Many hugely talented musicians and artists donated music to create an exclusive download album, an eclectic mix of over 6 hours of superb alternative music. Charity fundraiser Leon Clowes has created and is coordinating this auction and donation site.

Everyone involved is a volunteer and all fees paid to Paypal and Jumblebee are being covered by a sponsor (Leon Clowes Associates). This way, every pound raised the maximum funds raised will goes to help people and animals in Nepal.

How can you help? You can buy the MITRA Music for Nepal download album;  bid in our silent auction of rare and exclusive items and experiences; pay for the help of work and lifestyle experts or make a donation.

'Mitra' is Nepalese for 'friend'. Friends helping friends.
