This talk explores the realities of policing during wartime Britain - a period shaped by blackouts, rationing, and social change.It looks at how officers balanced civil duties with wartime demands, tackled black market crime, and maintained order amid air raids and upheaval. A glimpse into the challenges and character of law enforcement in one of the nation's most testing decades.
