Thank you for
supporting SHSPA's May Ball charity auction.
The auction is
now open and you can start bidding!
Online bidding
will close at 10am on Saturday 18th May, re-opening at the Ball itself and will then only be accessible from there.
If you’re unable
to attend the Ball but wish to bid on an item, you can place a proxy (maximum
bid) on this page. We will then carry your bid over to the main auction site on
the night and continue bidding on your behalf, up to your maximum. If your
bid is successful, we will contact you afterwards.
Proceeds from
the auction will be shared across the three amazing charities -
Cystic Fibrosis Trust, KidsAid, Thomas's Fund - and SHSPA.
Thank you to
everyone who has donated so generously and happy bidding!
Minimum bid is £320 (Bid increments are £10).
Enter a higher amount and we’ll bid up for you via proxy bidding
You are the highest bidder ! , but the reserve price has not been met.

Win the auction to allow your son/daughter to run the school and send Mr Clarke back to school for the day!
The winning pupil will begin the day in the Headmaster’s study, leading the daily senior management briefing, before beginning the first task of meeting and greeting children and parents in the carpark as they arrive for school.
Other tasks during the day will include giving out awards in assembly, meeting a School Governor and giving them a tour of the school, signing certificates for pupils, lunch queue duty, taking a tidiness inspection of classrooms, joining teachers for break in the staff room, observing a lesson, reading to the pupils in the Pre-Prep and then seeing the children home at the end of the day.
Mr Clarke, meanwhile, will have to face Double Maths, Latin, History and Double PE......
(Please note, this prize is only open to parents with children at Spratton Hall School)
Kindly donated by Simon Clarke

Buy yourself the opportunity to be Head for the day.
This eye-opening opportunity is a must-buy!
You'll start the day leading a staff briefing, before taking the prep school assembly.
This will be followed by a meeting to discuss the School Development Plan with the Chairman of Governors, before going on to meet with the Chair of the School Pupil Council to discuss propositions and ideas.
A Pre-Prep assembly later and time to deal with problems and issues that will inevitably arise during the course of the day!
The afternoon can then be spent at leisure, just as Mr Clarke does, swanning around the fields watching cricket matches!

SIGNED IN AS :
When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another
member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new
maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
