On Friday, 21st March, jumblebee was at St. George’s Hill Golf Club in Weybridge, supporting Myeloma UK with a web and electronic silent auction. It was a wonderful venue, and a beautiful day. Friends of the charity’s former board member and local man Peter “Norm” Hunt, who died of myeloma in November 2012, raised over £50,000 for a wonderful cause. The money went to the Peter Hunt Memorial Fund in aid of Myeloma UK.Club captain

Myeloma UK chief executive Eric Low OBE said: “During his 10 years as a board member, Peter played a pivotal role in the development and growth of Myeloma UK, and especially our research programme. The memorial fund in Peter’s name was established to ensure the significant contribution he made to myeloma research would continue after his death. We are delighted that the event was such a success and a big thank you to the hard working team behind the St George’s Hill golf day.”
