Capital Sci-Fi Con is back for its sixth year! This year we wont be returning to the Edinburgh Corn Exchange, so we're bringing to you virtually! Look out for special events running from 7th March up until the day of the convention - Saturday 13th March 2021. The event is run by our amazing volunteers with 100% of the profits donated to Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS). Last year the convention raised an incredible £60,000 and this year we are hoping to raise even more to help keep the joy alive for children with life-shortening conditions. We have had some fantastic auction prizes donated, including Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi who has donated a one-off, personally signed script. There are also rare items donated by Emma Thompson and David Bradley. You can bid on any of these items even if you are unable to attend the event. Three children in Scotland die each week from a life-shortening condition and at the moment, CHAS is only able to reach one of those three. We want to make sure that we can reach every family that needs us. By supporting this event - either through the auction, raffle or buying an autograph, you are helping us reach every family that needs us.
