Bespoke Jewellery by Martine Nash
I am a fine-jeweller and goldsmith with over 20 years of experience working for several family-owned jewellers. I studied Jewellery Design and Precious Metal Work at the Kent Institute of Art and Design. I was awarded a bursary from the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, providing me with gold to create my collection, giving me my very first experience working with precious metals. Using the skills, knowledge and expertise that I have developed as a result of this work and education, I have been able to refine and evolve my skills, to create unique and bespoke jewellery. As well as specialising in jewellery design, I also carry out repairs, alterations and remodelling.
Employing a variety of techniques, the Crystal Moon collection has been hand-crafted using a selection of precious metals, such as sterling silver, platinum and gold, as well as precious and semi-precious gemstones to create a diverse range of jewellery for all occasions, gifts and everyday wear.
My work is influenced by the many beautiful and intriguing patterns and symbols of tribal, exotic and ancient cultures, with heavy influences coming from the bold and decorative style of Art Deco.
I am a member of the Surrey Guild of Craftsmen, where some of my work is on display and available for purchase at the gallery in Milford, Surrey.

I seek to ensure that of the materials that I use within my work are ethically sourced and that all gemstones are purchased from UK dealers, using conflict-free diamonds.

Martine fixed a gold bracelet and my wedding ring superbly. She attached a new clasp to the bracelet, spotted the links would wear through again quickly, and found a way to reinforce them. I had lost the diamond out of the wedding ring and the setting and wear was such that I thought it wasn’t worth fixing. Martine suggested a brilliant way to ‘refurbish’ the ring and sourced a number of diamonds to choose from. To my delight the ring is now more beautiful than it has ever been, and more wearable too. Martine is a especially skillful jeweller, and very creative in finding ways to fix and improve. She is a delight to work with too!

Martine has undertaken a number of projects over the years I have known her and they are always wonderful. She really listens to what is wanted and then produces a piece of jewellery which is even better than you imagined.
She has reset a number of rings for me, making them safe and beautiful again. Transformed some old jewellery that was just sitting in a drawer to now be jewellery that I now wear all the time and love. The wonderful thing about an old piece of jewellery transformed is that you still smile at the memories, but also enjoy wearing the piece. She has also made a beautiful ring for my daughter that she loves to wear every day.
