Welcome to Chelwood Bridge Rotary on-line silent auction which will launch at noon on Thursday 5th November 2026 and will run until 10pm on Monday 30th November 2026

An ideal time to bid for items to give as Xmas presents.

Our aim is to raise as much money as we can through this auction for the benefit of local charities.

The money raised will support the charitable work that our Rotary Club provides to the community.

To get started, simply click on the red ‘sign in’ button and register your contact details. You will then be able to place bids. By doing so you are committing to pay the current price plus the set increment for that lot. If successful, you will see a ‘highest bidder’ message on-screen and receive confirmation by email. Should you be outbid, you’ll receive a message inviting you to bid again.

As with other online auctions, you can set up ‘proxy bids’ whereby the Jumblebee website will automatically re-bid for you in response to other higher bids. For a full explanation, click on ‘proxy bidding’ when viewing the individual lots.

Please note payment will be made to Jumblebee.  Should you win any of the lots, you will receive an email containing details on how to pay  together with all other relevant information. Lot winners will be contacted with collection/delivery details for their winning Lots.

Please share details of this website with your friends, family and other contacts.

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
