In a quest to encourage teenage kids away from street life, gangs and drugs, new TV show ‘Escape UK’ and ‘The Real Street Diary’ aim to give wayward teenagers army training and discipline, putting them on a path to attaining a good job and a better life.

This nail-biting seven-part Army TV show takes them (and now you!) on a no-holds-barred action adventure from start to finish. Covering 700 miles in seven days, in different locations on the streets of the UK, this gripping show will see audiences on the very edge of their seats!

The soldiers are all current or former SAS SBS SRR - Special Forces soldiers and the best in the world… But in a twist of loyalty to his aforementioned businessman contractor, one soldier feels sorry for the celebrity hostage and sets her free, taking her to safety 700 miles away.

Sticking to their contract, the remaining soldiers have just seven days to recapture the high-profile hostage and bring her back.

Alfie and his teen trainee’s job (and YOURS) is to stop them from completing their mission by taking them out one-by-one.

Well qualified and decorated in his role seeing him take on 14 of the highest-trained UK special forces soldiers singlehandedly, Alfie was himself in the British Army for 16 years. He served in the Scots Guards and is the first British soldier to ever receive the Hero of the Battlefield award in 2019 in Louisiana where, on a pre-deployment exercise, he cleared a village and took out 23 American Special Forces soldiers singlehandedly, completing the mission by himself and under heavy fire.

Over 700 miles in seven days, Alfie and his protégés kick off their action-packed mission in Scotland. Allowed to use a vehicle for just 20 miles, they can also use public transport, although only undercover, for 30 miles a day, winding up in Devon. It’s nothing less than nail-biting stuff!

Giving them a chance to turn their lives around, the rebellious youngsters’ adventures with Alfie will not only see them benefit physically and mentally, but also financially… Each participating teenager will also write a diary, which will be published as ‘The Real Street Diary’, and will take home 100% of the money their book makes.

But that’s not all… Altruistic Alfie is also helping the young insubordinate participants to gain qualifications by giving them the opportunity to achieve an NVQ.

Guildford Fringe Theatre Company’s popular Adult Panto returns to the Back Room of the Star Inn in Guildford this winter, with Throbbin’ Hood & His Little John playing from 24 November 2022 – 7 January 2023. This will be the 11th Guildford Fringe Adult Panto.

The Adult Panto is written by James Chalmers, and co-directed, choreographed and produced by Charlotte and Nick Wyschna – the creative team behind the success runs of Sinders (2019), D!CK (2020), Pinocchio (2020) and Aladdin One Rub Too Many (2021). The professional cast is (with character names edited, to be revealed in full glory at the show!): Fred Broom as Madam Suki, Rosy Carr as Maid Marion, Emily Cochrane as Willow, Alex Dowding as The Sheriff.

Every show has been a sell out in previous years, so advanced booking is recommended.
