Welcome to the Coombe Girls' School PFA auction!
All proceeds from the auction will go towards supporting our daughters’ education. We have some large projects this year that require extra funding support from the PFA including the re-development of the quad creating a more inspiring outdoor area for all students. See the plan below.
We have gathered together a wide range of auction prizes, which we hope will offer something for everyone to bid on. The auction is open to everyone, so please spread the word and grab a bargain!
(Anyone can bid, but items bigger than can fit in an A4 envelope must be collected from a Kingston Upon Thames address at the end of the auction.)
This auction runs in conjunction with our Winter Wonderland School Fair Fundraiser on Friday 17th November and will take place in the school hall from 3-5pm. Please encourage your daughter to come as there will be lots of fun stalls including a Photo Booth, Waffles, Bath Bombs, Candy Floss, Vintage Sweets, Chocolate Tombola, Raffle and of course visiting retailers selling small gifts.
Bidding will be open until 11.59pm on Friday 17th November 2017.

HOW TO BID
To place a bid click on the item, enter your bid and click on "Bid Now". If you are not already signed in you will be prompted to register (with your email, phone number and password) or to sign in, if you already have a Jumblebee account. These details are requested so that you can be contacted if you are the winning bidder and will never be passed to a 3rd Party.
Once you have signed in you will be asked to confirm your bid - at this point you can uncheck "Show my name" if you would prefer to remain anonymous for that bid. If your bid is successful you will see a "highest bidder" message on the screen and you will receive a confirmation email. If there has already been a higher proxy bid placed on the item a message will appear to tell you that you have been outbid by a proxy bidder. If your bid has been successful but you are outbid later you will receive an email informing you and inviting you to bid again.
WHAT IS A PROXY BID
A proxy bid is any bid higher than the minimum bid required. If you make a proxy bid the system will try to win the item for you at the lowest price by bidding only the minimum increment required to win the item against another bidder
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
