It's here - back by popular demand! Bury Abbey Rotary Club are delighted to announce the return of our "silent online auction". After a successful auction in 2021 we're doing it again - this time our headline charity is MyWiSH, the local NHS charity.
MyWiSH provide that little bit extra to enhance the wonderful care given by West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust in West Suffolk & Newmarket hospitals as well as care in the home and also supporting NHS staff.
Current President of Bury Abbey Rotary, Jill Badman has chosen MyWiSH as our headline charity. Jill, who is General Manager of The Guildhall in Bury St Edmunds, said "The auction is a wonderful opportunity to support our local NHS Trust, it comes just in time for Christmas - there's something to suit everyone and all budgets.
As headline charity, MyWiSH will receive 51% of the proceeds with the remainder going to other local charities supported by bury Abbey Rotary Club
The Auction runs from November 17th and finishes on Monday December 5th at 10pm.
We will arrange free delivery of Lots within the Bury St. Edmunds area, or for a minimal charge further afield.

Banksy Time Out London Magazine April 2010 Limited Edition authenticated framed Print. This Banksy photoshoot was a mixture of self-portraiture with monkey mask and his trademark use of spraypaint on the brick wall. The cover image was unlike anything Banksy had ever done for a magazine before. It was created to raise money for the Haiti Appeal. 5000 were printed but 3500 were damaged by Time Out when they folded and posted them! This mint-conditoned framed print comes with a signed certificate from Brandler Galleries, the certificate is numbered, the print is not. A morning's Birdwatching around the RSPB reserves at Boyton Marshes and Hollesley Bay for up to 6 people with refreshments, with Ed Creasy. Boyton and Hellesley Marshes are two vibrant coastal reserves in the lower reaches of the Alde-Ore Estuary, near Woodbridge. They are both grazing marshes, which means they are great places for watching birds of prey, owls, butterflies and dragonflies depending on the time of year. Boyton Marshes is made up of wetland, grassland and coastal habitats. A new lagoon has been created at Hollesley which has many species of breeding wader including avocet and lapwing. To suit breeding, maintenance includes selective winter flooding, grazing with sheep and cattle, controlling invasive vegetation and water levels. A bronze sculpture "paperweight" by Dr. Steve Jones. Steve Jones is a metallurgist who was involved in engineering research for over 45 years. Since retiring in Bury five years ago, Steve has been able to concentrate on sculpture. Projects include the collection box in the Abbey Gardens, St Edmunds Crowns in Church Walks and the Guildhall, numerous bronzes and a large stainless steel and gold Crown of Thorns to be installed in the Cathedral next year. A bronze tactile sculpture by Dr. Steve Jones. Steve Jones is a metallurgist who was involved in engineering research for over 45 years. Since retiring in Bury five years ago, Steve has been able to concentrate on sculpture. Projects include the collection box in the Abbey Gardens, St. Edmunds Crowns in Church Walks and the Guildhall, numerous bronzes and a large stainless steel and gold Crown of Thorns to be installed in the Cathedral next year.
