I spin round to catch sight of the top of the periscope as Hide&Peek is quickly pulled out of view. Lino printing is a form of fine art printmaking where the printing plate is cut into lino. Yes, lino as in linoleum, as in the floor covering. The lino is then inked, a piece of paper placed over it, and then run through a printing press or pressure applied by hand to transfer the ink to the paper. The result, a linocut print. The Cook Stars team is passionate about cooking and simply LOVE good food! They share their love of cooking through teaching children and teenagers how to create their very own dishes from scratch. Cookstars offer classes for pre-school children, primary school age children, tweens and teens. They also host special event workshops, birthday parties and classes within schools and the community. Small Organic Veg Box

The Welsh Food Box Company is a new home delivery service, bringing the best local produce direct to households in South Wales. It was set up by Chris Rees, a local Vale of Glamorgan resident who found that buying, local, high quality farm produce was not always an easy thing to do. It meant spending precious time on weekends travelling to farmers markets and farm shops, only to find that, often, the best produce had sold out. So the idea of an on line farmers market took shape and the Welsh Food Box Company was born. The Company aims to ensure that people have access to the brilliant range of food that is produced locally, with the convenience of shopping on line to get a fresh food delivery. Its ethos is to make buying local and fresh a convenient and practical reality, whilst also providing a route to market for local producers that avoids dealing with large multinational companies who often offer much smaller margins. It is one of only two Steiner Waldorf Schools in Wales. We are non-selective and welcome children of all abilities, faiths and backgrounds. Our distinctive, international curriculum integrates arts and academics into a rich, balanced education that ignites a lifelong passion for learning. The Fair is raising money for the School and our Bursary Fund, helping families, who could not otherwise afford it, give their child the gift of Steiner Education. The Online Auction replaces our usual Christmas Fair this year due to Covid-19 and social distancing. The Fair is a much-beloved tradition of the School. For over 20 years, thousands of attendees from across South Wales have enjoyed a day of mid-winter magic - crammed with storytelling, crafting, delicious food and gorgeous, handmade gifts.
