'Grey Skies' by Bruce Graham
'Grey Skies' by Bruce Graham. The framed size is 52x52cm, and is oil on board, and a black wooden frame. Bruce Graham is an artist living and working the North East of Scotland. He derives much of his inspiration from the dramatic and varied Scottish scenery, and his paintings reflect his unique interpretation of our stunning landscapes. The coastlines, seascapes, cliffs and rock formations lend themselves to the use of palette knives to create layers of texture. The special quality of light of the northern skies, the endless variety of cloud formations and moody atmospheric skies are also reflected in much of his work. While many of the landscapes are based on actual locations, some have simply evolved from his imagination. This is your chance to have this stunning piece in your house with 100% of the proceeds coming to St Columba's Hospice Care. https://www.theartistbrucegraham.com/

Full tasting menu with paired wines for two at Cardinal
Cardinal is one of Edinburgh's most exciting new restaurants. One reviewer said the following “Cardinal stands out as not just a restaurant but a full sensory experience, marrying Michelin star quality with a warmth and accessibility often lost in fine dining”. Cardinal says:- "With a wide range of local and sustainable suppliers at our doorstep, from our Lobsters and Crabs at Belhaven Lobsters in Dunbar to our vegetables and Native breed meats at Free Company Farm in Balerno we’re lucky to be taking advantage of Scotlands unique and unrivalled natural larder. Cooking over coals helps add an extra layer of flavour to whatever we’re cooking on them, it’s more intuitive and engaging as cooks and we feel like that comes through on the plate. We want dining at Cardinal to be an experience, something to enjoy. with friends, family or alone. A journey through the flavours and stories that our kitchen team are telling with our food. Two tickets to see Scottish Ballet's: The Crucible
This lot is for two tickets to see Scottish Ballet's The Crucible at the Festival Theatre on Tuesday 1st May. Scottish Ballet is set to bewitch us once again with the return of their award-winning production of The Crucible, after thrilling audiences in London and the USA. The intense, visceral choreography in this edge-of-your-seat production unleashes the emotional force of Arthur Miller’s famous play about the 17th-century Salem witch trials. Tender, devastating duets are followed by intoxicating solos and wild, feverish ensemble numbers as the tight-knit village community unravels into chaos. Choreographed by Helen Pickett, with stylish costumes, gothic lighting and a striking, modernist set designed by David Finn and Emma Kingsbury, the production is accompanied by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra, performing Peter Salem’s haunting, immersive, electro-acoustic score. With themes as resonant today as ever, Scottish Ballet’s The Crucible has been described as a ‘ballet for our times’ and is a masterclass in storytelling through dance. Running time: The performance lasts approximately two hours including one 20-minute interval. https://scottishballet.co.uk/whats-on/the-crucible/
